With yesterday’s ride in the books, I’ve now hit 2,020 miles riding for the year 2020. I’m now at 2,039 miles ridden both outdoors and on the trainer for this year. Just a fun number. If VeloViewer is to be believed, I will end up with something north of 4,000 miles of riding for all of 2020. However, I think that presumes I keep up my outdoor riding pace the last two months during the cooler months of November and December on the indoor trainer. I..suppose that could happen. ...

The long ride in the heat yesterday is certainly taking it’s toll. Water On the plus side, I’m not at all dehydrated! No headaches after the ride or this morning, which is something I’ve encountered when out riding in the heat and not drinking enough liquid. I consumed ~4 bottles of water during the ride (out for 4:30) and then at least 4-16oz glasses throughout the day once I got home. Plus beer. ...
