File this under silly and stupid things, but I caught this blog post from Casey Liss about saving money on his Verizon bill.
What sort of trickery, phone tree hacks and lies would I have to tell to save a few $$? Nothing, it turns out. Log in to your Verizon account on the web, search “port number” in the search box, and at the results page look at the top. There’s probably an offer to save $20/month/line. Click it. Done, applied. You can see the updated pricing on your “next bill summary” page.
To me, that’ll save me… $100/mo for the next 12 months. Seems like the offer, going on now, is good for up to 12 lines on a single plan.
Jfc, what a ridiculous way to run a business.
